Timor-Leste’s first Adventure Race on 12 December 2010 included goats, bikes, bridges, canoes and carts. But the one-day race offered sights, sounds and smells that were uniquely Timorese. Timor-Leste's own Adventure Race, the first of its kind, saw participants - local and from afar - battling the odds and challenging the toughest barriers to be champs. They climbed hills, rowed boats, pushed carts, tugged goats, abseiled... but one challenge was something quite unexpected.
