Bajo Komodo Eco Lodge on Minimizing Tourism Impacts

ECO FLORES is the network linking sustainability efforts on Flores island in eastern Indonesia. In this video series, different members of the network are featured. Here you'll meet Sylvester, manager of Bajo Komodo Eco Lodge, the first eco-resort on Flores. Sylvester discusses the importance of shaping how tourism affects local people, and reflects on the traditional views held by Manggarai people towards nature. Timor-Leste's Adventure Race 2010

Timor-Leste’s first Adventure Race on 12 December 2010 included goats, bikes, bridges, canoes and carts. But the one-day race offered sights, sounds and smells that were uniquely Timorese. Celebrating Bidayuh Culture at Gawai Festival, Sarawak

June is a good time to visit Sarawak. The people of Sarawak in Borneo, particularly the tribes or Dayaks, celebrate the traditional rice harvest festival.
