Gaia Discovery is managed and edited by Mallika Naguran, under the banner of Cocoon Times, an independent business registered in the Republic of Singapore. Gaia Discovery editorial team lives by this mantra: to preserve and protect eco-systems, people within their environment, uphold culture and tradition through interviews, reviews and first hand reporting. Writers use their personal time, often voluntarily, in contributing to this portal.

Mallika Naguran has worked for the private and public sectors ranging from fashion to IT sectors. She has freelanced for publications such as Discovery Channel Magazine, The Straits Times, MillionaireAsia, Appetite, Marketing and Men’s Health magazines. 

Concerned with global warming, climate change and the alarming rate of urban and tourism development with little concern for the environment, she has decided to dedicate her time and resources towards running a portal that helps create awareness of eco-living and sustainable tourism. Thus, Gaia Discovery was created.

Thin Lei Win is a Yangon-born, Saigon-based freelance writer plus a travel and food enthusiast who delights in sharing her latest finds with others, whether they be shopping tips or NGO trips.

Educated in Singapore and Britain, Thin is a self-confessed workaholic who loves to write and read pretty much anything - including hotel brochures and airline manuals - and loathes people who refuse to use spell check, format their documents or follow style guides.

Jeremy Torr has over 20 years experience in both print and radio journalism. He has worked in the UK, Australia and Singapore, editing and writing for media as diverse as Australian Biotechnology News, The UK Sunday Times, the BBC, PC Magazine, SIA and QANTAS inflight journals, plus all the major dailies in Australia.

Jeremy is now a managing editor based in Singapore and flies paragliders to keep his mind off work. Nantiya Tangwisutijit is a senior editor with Thailand's The Nation group of publications, and is a familiar name in Asian environmental reporting scene. She started Thai Climate www.thaiclimate.org with a few partners to focus on Thailand's climate change issues and policies to reach out to the layman with a wave of journalistic approach.
